Need I say more???

This past December Meg and I took a Christmas trip to the city that never sleeps for a night where Old School Returns to rule the sound waves. The Price for two tickets to see Dee Snider and one of the best Glam Metal bands of all-time live, where you could Feel the Power of Dee’s voice (surprisingly still stellar at his advanced age!) and see for ourselves that The Fire Still Burns within these rockers was too good to pass up.

Out on the Streets of the city, M&Em could hear the fans calling; “Twisted Sister, Come Out and Play”. The excitement was electrifying and M&Em knew Tonight was gonna rock! A minute into the first song of the night (after a disappointing opening band), it was clear TS would Tear it Loose…and they did!

As we left The Best Buy Theater that night, we knew, like every other TS fan out there…The Kids are Back. While we finished our less than 24 hour trip to the city specifically to see TS and secretly praying, ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ since they are a little past their heyday, our night finished exactly how we had hoped, snow falling on the city in anticipation of a White Christmas.

M&Em left NYC thankful that there are still some good bands out there and not all singers are cookie cutouts from the Disney factory and no matter how hard the music industry tries to force little 12 year old singers onto our playlists, You Can’t Stop Rock ‘N’ Roll!

What Happens in Vegas...Ends in Palm Springs!

March Madness/St. Patrick's Day and Vegas, aka the ultimate trifecta, aka the Perfect Storm, aka the Icing on the Cake...just another trip for M&Em. At it again, this time to celebrate our Irish heritage and try our hand at winning it big with a major upset. yeah that's right, a 2012 Mustang Convertible with 6 miles on it (from the truck to the lot)! After cruising through the Mojave desert (Meg even got to drive)!,

M&Em ended up in Palm Springs for some fun in the sun (shopping, eating, drinking, massages) and for a look at what we really went out there for...a Biplane Ride!

Navy Reunion

M&Em made their second annual trip to a Navy tailgate. Once again, the main event was the tailgate and only Em of M&Em made it to the game. We also introduced Jane who hopped across the pond for her first American football game.

M&Em braved the bitter cold weather and the early morning hours in search of the most famous float the Macy's Day Parade had to offer, did they find it?

Tribute Trip

We took a short one day trip to NYC (the best place on earth) just as a tribute after watching a classic movie.
